NHSmail Reference : INC34464661

Microsoft Reference : PW517257

Issue Status : RESOLVED

Issue Description : Users may be unable to create connections from Roadmap to projects in Project for the web.

More Information : When attempting to connect Roadmap to projects, users may be informed that, “It looks like something went wrong.”

Users can bypass the issue by visiting https://make.powerautomate.com/, selecting the preferred location, and giving their consent by clicking “Get Started.”

Final Update : 13/03/2023 08:40:00 AM – Microsoft have observed that their code fix to address the underlying issue has successfully completed deployment, and they’ve verified via telemetry that this has remediated impact for all affected users.

Scope of impact : This issue can potentially impact any user attempting to create connections from Roadmap to projects in Project for the web.

Root cause : A recent update revealed a code issue in which a specific value confirming users’ consent to leverage the Power Automate service, a service upon which Project for the web functionality is reliant, isn’t populating as expected for users new to Roadmap.

Next steps : Microsoft are reviewing their service update procedures so they can better identify similar issues during their testing and development cycles and avoid comparable impact in the future.
