Issue Description : Delegate users’ shared calendar changes are taking up to five hours to update in Exchange Online.

More Information : Affected users may only encounter the delays when making changes or scheduling appointments and not meetings.

Final Update : 27/02/2023 09:26:00 AM – The fix deployment is complete and Microsoft have confirmed with affected users that this issue is resolved.

Scope of impact : Any delegate users serviced by the affected infrastructure who were viewing or making changes in shared mailboxes may have been impacted.

Root cause : A regression was introduced after a recent code change, which is resulting in the impact.

Next steps : Microsoft are reviewing the validation and update procedures to detect and prevent issues like this prior to deployment in the future.
