Issue Description : User may be unable to publish or check-in projects from the Project Web App.

More Information : User may be unable to publish or check-in projects from the Project Web App.Impacted users may observe that the publish/check-in button is grayed out or unresponsive.

Users can utilize the Project Online Desktop Client as an alternative means of publishing projects.

Final Update : 30/01/2023 08:35:00 AM– Microsoft have verified through telemetry that the revert has completely saturated and they have confirmed with some affected users that it has fully remediated the issue.

Scope of impact : Users attempting to publish or check-in projects from the Project Web App may be impacted.

Root Cause : A recent update meant to optimize the Project Web App introduced a code regression, resulting in impact when it mistakenly disabled the publish/check-in button.

Next steps : Microsoft are reviewing their Project Web App update procedures so they can better identify similar issues during their testing and development cycles and avoid comparable impact in the future.
