Issue Description : Users may be experiencing crashes when using bot input menus in the Microsoft Teams desktop app or web app.

Final Update : 01/02/2023 08:52:00 AM – The deployment of the fix is complete, and the service telemetry confirms that bot input menu functionality is restored and impact is remediated.

Scope of impact : Any user leveraging a bot input menu in the Chat tab in the Microsoft Teams desktop or web app is impacted.

Root cause : A recent update to the Microsoft Teams service, intended to improve chat performance, introduced a regression that’s causing the service to exceed the system memory allocated to the service, resulting in impact.

Next steps : Microsoft are reviewing the Microsoft Teams service update procedures pertaining to bot integrations to prevent similar impact in future updates.
