Issue Description : Users may be unable to access your environment intermittently.

More Information : This issue was previously communicated under MO502273 and has been created to highlight ongoing investigations into potential residual impact within the Exchange Online service.

Final Update : 26/01/2023 09:15:00 AM – After additional investigation, Microsoft identified a misconfiguration within a portion of the dependency service network infrastructure. They performed configuration changes on the impacted networking component and confirmed via service diagnostics that environment access and performance was restored.

Root cause : A misconfiguration within a portion of a dependency service network infrastructure.

Next Steps : Microsoft is analyzing performance data and trends on the affected systems to prevent this problem from happening again.
