Issue Description : Admins using the Advanced Hunting Dispatcher component in Microsoft Defender may have experienced latency in the email collaboration section tables.

Final Update : 21/10/2022 11:55:00 AM – Microsoft has successfully completed processing the backlog of delayed email event data, and have confirmed following an extended monitoring period that impact is no longer occurring.

Root cause : A recent standard service update, deployed to the infrastructure responsible for data ingestion, inadvertently contained a code regression and is causing latency impact.

Next steps : Microsoft is reviewing their standard service update procedures to avoid similar impact in future.
