Issue Description : Admins can’t view some users’ mailbox permissions in the Microsoft Purview compliance portal.

More info : Admins with access to PowerShell can use the Get-MailboxPermissions cmdlet to access users’ mailbox permission information.

While this primarily impacts the Get-MailboxPermissions and Get-MailboxAutoReplyConfiguration cmdlets, it can potentially affect other cmdlets as well.

Scope of impact : This issue may potentially affect any admins attempting to view some users’ mailbox permissions in the Microsoft Purview compliance portal.

Final Update : 26/10/2022 08:55:00 AM – Microsoft has successfully deployed the fix, and confirmed that impact is no longer occurring through monitoring and affected user feedback.

Root cause : A recent service update intended to provide general optimizations and fixes has created a version mismatch on networking infrastructure which facilitates compliance portal actions.
