Issue Description : Some users can’t access Microsoft 365 services after their Azure Active Directory (AD) Object ID (OID) has changed.
More info : This issue impacts users who have a new Azure Active Directory (AD) Object Identifier (OID), which can occur during a domain and user migration or by having their account deleted and recreated with the same User Principal Name (UPN).
Scope of impact : Your organization was affected by this event, and some users with an assigned app protection policy that have a new Azure AD OID experience impact.
Final Update : 30/09/2022 11:12:00 AM – Microsoft has verified that the change was published to the App Store, and They have received confirmation from some affected users that the issue is now resolved and users are now unblocked from access when using the updated app.
Root cause : A service update to a subset of code that facilitates OID and UPN identification is resulting in impact.
Next steps : Microsoft is reviewing their service update procedures to help them understand the context of this issue and prevent impact like this from happening in the future.
