Issue Status : RESOLVED
Issue Description : Some users are unable to use Room Finder to search for rooms in Exchange Online.
More info : This issue applied to rooms with no other events scheduled and prevented new events from being scheduled.
Users were experiencing impact using Outlook on the web and the Outlook desktop client.
As an alternative to avoid impact, users could have created an event in the room calendar in the search time frame.
Scope of impact : Some users attempting to utilize Room Finder within the Exchange Online service are impacted.
Final Update : 04/10/2022 09:21:00 AM – Microsoft finished deploying the fix and confirmed with internal telemetry that the issue is resolved.
Root cause : A recent migration introduced an error in code that was causing impact.
Next steps : Microsoft are reviewing the code error which resulted in impact, to further understand why it was introduced in the recent migration, and to prevent similar issues in the future.
