Issue Description : Users’ Microsoft 365 apps may have crashed when users attempted to view contact card information.

More Info : Impact was specific to the Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint apps.
Additionally, this issue occurred for users on the latest Monthly Enterprise Channel updates (Version 2206, build 15330.20298.) Microsoft recommended reverting back to using Version 2205 as an alternative while we addressed the issue in full.

Scope of impact : Any user on the Monthly Enterprise Channel build 2206 attempting to view contact information via specific Microsoft 365 apps may have experienced impact.

Final Update : 12/08/2022 08:40:00 AM – Microsoft has determined that a recent update to the Monthly Enterprise Channel environment caused some Microsoft 365 apps to crash for users leveraging version 2206 who were attempting to view contact information within specific apps. While they are continuing to investigate precisely why this occurred, they have reverted to the last known unaffected version to expedite remediation, subsequently confirming resolution with some formerly affected users. For those experiencing residual impact, they recommend updating all devices to ensure the unaffected version, 2205, is registered to resolve impact.
