Description: We are aware of an issue this afternoon which is preventing a small number of users from accessing newly created CSR Accounts on the National Administration Service. Engineers are working to perform mitigative actions and have confirmed that performing a password reset will allow impacted users to gain access to their new account as a workaround.
We are working to identify the root cause of the issue in parallel and will provide further information as it becomes available.
Final Update: 23/08/2022 16:50:00 PM – We have identified the root cause and taken action to remediate it. The issue was caused by a mismatch in an account creation script which did not match the current NHSmail platform password criteria; this has now been amended. All impacted users have been identified and we are in the process of contacting them with next steps.
