Issue Description : Some users can’t see search results for the Default Global Address List in Outlook on the web
More info : While Microsoft were focused on remediation, affected users could’ve added recipients from the Default Global Address List in Outlook on the web by manually finding recipients in the list and clicking the + sign.
Scope of impact : This issue affected some users attempting to search the Default Global Address List in Outlook on the web to add recipients to email messages.
Final Update : 26/07/2022 09:38:00 AM – The fix has finished saturating throughout the affected environment and Microsoft have confirmed with some users that the impact is resolved. If some users don’t see resolution right away, they can refresh their browser to receive the latest Outlook on the web update.
Root Cause : A recent deployment that was part of a regular scheduled maintenance update introduced a service regression.
Next steps : To help prevent similar impact in the future, Microsoft are further reviewing why the deployment introduced a regression and how we can improve our validation procedures to catch such issues before deployment.
