Issue Description : Users are unable to sign in to the Microsoft Teams desktop app via authenticated proxy servers.
More info: While Microsoft are focused on remediation, users can access Microsoft Teams through the web client. Additionally, users who don’t sign in via authenticated proxy servers (such as when they work from home) are unaffected.
Scope of impact : Any user attempting to sign in to the Microsoft Teams desktop app using an authenticated proxy server is impacted.
Final Update : 06/07/2022 17:49:00 PM – Microsoft confirmed that the deployment of their fix has successfully completed, and they have received reports from some affected users that this has resolved the issue.
Root cause : A recent service update contains a code regression, resulting in impact.
Next steps : Microsoft are reviewing their update procedures to better identify similar issues during the development and testing cycles.
