Issue Description : Users may experience problems with voicemail within Microsoft Teams.
Scope of impact : Your organization was affected by this event, and any user attempting to leave a voicemail in Microsoft Teams may have been impacted.
Final Update : 07/06/2022 02:23:00 PM – Microsoft completed rerouting user connections to alternate infrastructure and can confirm after monitoring, that impact has been resolved.
Root cause : A section of database infrastructure, which is responsible for processing user voicemails in Microsoft Teams, was unexpectedly performing below acceptable performance thresholds.
Next steps : Microsoft are analyzing performance data and trends on the affected systems to help prevent this problem from happening again.
