Issue Description : Users may see that webinar invites aren’t localized to their language.

More info : While Microsoft were pursuing mitigation, all webinar attendee related communication will be sent as email instead of calendar invites.

Scope of impact : Your organization is affected by this event, and the issue may impact any user receiving webinar invites.

Final Update : 07/06/2022 08:55:00 AM – The fix deployment has completed and Microsoft have confirmed via an internal test tenant that impact is remediated.

Root cause : A recent feature update to Microsoft Teams is causing localization issues with webinar invites.

Next steps : Microsoft are reviewing their update procedures to better identify similar localization issues for webinar invites during our development and testing cycles in the future.
