Please be aware, there is a planned infrastructure upgrade scheduled at one of our datacentres for this upcoming weekend. The work being undertaken will begin at 19:00 on Saturday, 28th of May and will complete at 23:00 on Sunday, 29th May. During this period, all NHSmail will be re-routed via the alternative datacentre to ensure there is zero impact on end users of the NHSmail platform. However, any remote organisations that use direct IP addresses rather than DNS to access the e-mail gateways and who are pointing at the impacted datacentre will lose service during the upgrade activity.
Although zero impact is expected, it is advised that you review your service continuity plans in advance of this change.
Update (30/05/2022): Upgrade completed without issues.
