NHSmail Security Enhancements

NHSmail constantly review and update the proactive security measures in place to protect the service from malicious attacks. In response to the current enhanced global threat level, the NHSmail team will be making changes over the coming days. This could result in some Non Delivery Reports being received in some instances as a result of the changes performed.

The Non Delivery Report email that users should expect to receive in instances where an email is rejected is shown below –

554 5.7.1 ‘recipient address’: Recipient address rejected: ERS-RBL

In the event that a Non Delivery Report relating to the above is received, please utilise the Trend Email Reputation Service to resolve.
