Issue Description: Users may be intermittently unable to complete searches in Outlook on the web and Outlook desktop.
More info: Affected users will likely see an error message when searching that states: “We’re having troubles fetching results from the server…”
Scope of impact: Impact is specific to some users who are served through the affected infrastructure.
Final Update – 01/07/2021 12:30:00 PM: Microsoft confirmed that disabling the synthetic traffic has reduced traffic and confirmed mitigation via telemetry.
