Issue Description: Users may have been unable to sync calendars in Outlook desktop client version 16.49 for Mac.
Affected users would see a “Calendar: Resolving Conflicts” error when attempting to access their calendar. Affected users could have used Outlook on the web or Outlook mobile as an alternate connection method.
Scope of impact: Any user with Outlook desktop client version 16.49 for Mac and syncing via Representational State Transfer (REST) may have been impacted.
Final Update – 16/06/2021 10:05:00 AM: Microsoft have finished reverting the change and confirmed via telemetry that service is restored. Users should clear their Outlook desktop calendar cache to experience relief.
To clear the cache, right click the calendar, click Properties, and then click Empty Cache.
