Issue Description: We are aware of an issue wherein users users on Windows 7/8 Service Pack 1 with TLS 1.0/1.1 cannot connect to OneDrive for Business and receive error 0x8004de40
For additional information, including a mechanism to prevent the impact from persisting, review MC240160 for details related to the TLS 1.2 enforcement specific to OneDrive for Business connectivity.
Scope of impact: The implementation of TLS 1.2 enforcement may affect OneDrive for Business connectivity for customers using TLS 1.0 or 1.1 with users on Windows 7 or 8 Service Pack 1.
Final Update – 19/05/2021 10:33:00 AM: As this event is related to our ongoing efforts to enforce TLS 1.2 use and not a service issue, this communication will be closed.
