Issue Description: We are aware of an issue wherein users are unable to join public live events in external tenants via the Microsoft Teams desktop client.
As a workaround, users can access public live events using the web client.

Scope of impact: Your organization is affected by this event, and any user may be impacted.

Current Update – 28/04/2021 08:16:00 AM: A recent feature update intended to improve the guest join flow for meetings contained a code regression, causing impact. Microsoft have completed the process to revert the recent feature update and Microsoft internal testing shows that the issue has been mitigated. Service has been restored to normal.
