Earlier this week, outbound Mailflow issues were reported to the Service Desk. The root cause was identified and outbound Mailflow to these addresses was able to continue without issue from Tuesday afternoon. The issue however caused emails to be quarantined within the NHSmail security system when trying to email certain UK domains.
Following further analysis and an audit of the relay quarantine, NHSmail engineers identified a proportion of emails sent to specific addresses during this period remained within the NHSmail security system. NHSmail engineers are in the process of releasing all available emails sent during this period. This may result in your colleagues only receiving emails now, that were sent earlier in the week.
