NHSmail Exchange Online users may be unable to access their mailbox intermittently via Outlook, OWA or other connection methods

Microsoft are reporting an intermittent issue which could potentially impact Exchange Online users. NHSmail Exchange Online users may be unable to access their mailbox via Outlook, Outlook on the web, or other connection methods. Where users are able to access the service, they may be unable to send or receive email. Additionally, when using Microsoft Teams, users may be unable to complete searches.

Latest update (11-11-2020 09:21:56 AM (GMT): Following investigation, Microsoft have identified and restarted the affected environments to remediate the impact. This issue is now closed. Microsoft will be reviewing their infrastructure update procedures to help better prevent similar events from occurring in the future.
