Introducing the Launchpad

The Launchpad is your new starting point for NHS.net Connect – designed to make every day work and collaboration simpler. It will replace the NHSmail portal and be your personalised front door to NHS.net Connect.

It brings your NHS tools and services together in one place, so you can reach what you need quickly and confidently.

Watch a quick overview of the Launchpad

When you open the Launchpad, you will see:

  • Personalised tiles for your key NHS tools and services
  • Quick links to email, Teams, and shared resources
  • Notifications about service updates and guidance
  • Help and support shortcuts, so you can get assistance quickly

What is staying the same?

  • Your NHS.net email address and Microsoft 365 apps
  • Checking email, updating your profile and, sharing files
  • Support from the same helpdesk team

Your Launchpad view is personalised, only showing tools relevant to your role and permissions.

Who it’s for?

All users who move to NHS.net Connect will use the Launchpad as their main access point to the service. Local Administrators (LAs) will also reach their administrative and reporting tools from here.

What happens next?

You will start to see updates as NHS organisations move from NHSmail to NHS.net Connect.  For further details, please visit Introducing NHS.net Connect – NHSmail Support. We will continue to update this information regularly.
