Current Update: 10/07/2026 09:08:00 AM– Microsoft is continuing their efforts to validate the effectiveness of their remediation actions to improve processing performance while monitoring service health telemetry and processing indicators to confirm criticality events are being processed as expected. In parallel, they are continuing to review additional optimization and capacity measures while investigating the underlying root cause of the issue.

Scope of impact: Impact is specific to some users attempting to view or rely on criticality-based insights and enrichments in Microsoft Defender for Identity.
