Issue Description: Users are unable to provide consent when opening an embedded service containing a model-driven app in Microsoft Teams.

Current Update: 20/05/2026 08:46:00 AM–During their validation of the fix, Microsoft determined that the proposed solution would not address the misconfiguration within the affected service infrastructure. The team is currently reviewing the misconfiguration to identify alternative mitigation options.

Scope of impact: Your organization is affected by this event, and some admins relying on Microsoft Defender for Identity V3 sensor data may be impacted. This information may be updated as their investigation continues.

Root cause: A certificate change is causing authentication issues within a core section of the Microsoft Defender for Identity service, leading to sensor disconnections.
