Issue Description: Some users may be unable to start recordings in Microsoft Teams meetings

More info: Users attempting to start the recording may see a message that states recordings may not be started.

Current Update: 13/05/2026 14:20:00 PM–Microsoft has identified that a network configuration issue is causing Domain Name System (DNS) timeouts, resulting in impact. They are deploying a fix to correct the configuration and expect completion by Thursday, 14 May 2026.

Scope of impact: Some users in Europe, Middle East, and Africa attempting to start recordings in Microsoft Teams meetings may be impacted. This information may be updated as our investigation continues.

Root cause: A network configuration issue is causing Domain Name System (DNS) timeouts.
