Issue Status: ONGOING

Issue Description: Some users can’t open apps in Microsoft Power Apps that require consent to access as the consent popup isn’t appearing.

More info: As a workaround, some affected users can download their meeting recordings using the Async Media Storage link available in the meeting chats.

Final Update: 28/04/2026 9:05:00 AM Microsoft has completed reverting the offending update and confirmed with monitoring internal telemetry that the impact is remediated.

Scope of impact: Your organization is affected by this event, and some users attempting to access complete meeting recordings for some Microsoft Teams meetings may be impacted.

Root cause: A recent change to the method in how secure connection requests were processed in the Consent API was causing impact.

Next steps: Microsoft are further reviewing the recent change to understand what specific aspect of it results in impact, and to understand what prevented it from being detected in our update testing and validation procedures, which will allow us to prevent similar issues in future updates.
