Issue Description: Users may intermittently see a red border after screensharing has been stopped in Microsoft Teams.

Current Update: 29/01/2026 08:32:00 AM – Microsoft has initiated a safe process to expedite our code solution, and they expect their solution to complete deployment by their next scheduled update.

Scope of impact: Any user with the Microsoft Teams version 26005.204.4249.1621 who utilises screensharing functionality in Microsoft Teams may be intermittently impacted.

Root cause: A recent service library update introduced a code regression that’s resulting in users intermittently seeing a red border after screensharing has been stopped in Microsoft Teams.
