Issue Description: Users may be unable to access the Microsoft Whiteboard service through the web and receive an error

Current Update: 17/10/2025 09:19:00 AM – Microsoft investigation of the service logs and the inaccessible Microsoft Whiteboard URL has identified that an HTML file within the affected infrastructure leveraged by the Microsoft Whiteboard web URL service was inadvertently removed through an automated action, which led to impact. We manually updated and restored this HTML file and confirmed from a subset of affected users that is remediated.

Scope of impact: Any user may have been affected by this event and may have been unable to access the Microsoft Whiteboard service through the web.

Root cause: An HTML file within the affected infrastructure leveraged by the Microsoft Whiteboard web URL service was inadvertently removed through an automated action, which led to impact.

Next Steps : Microsoft are further analyzing why the HTML file was automatically removed to identify what additional changes can be made to detect sooner and prevent similar impact from occurring again in the future.
