Issue Description: Users may be unable to setup Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) on devices for the first time.

Final Update: 15/11/2024 08:40:00 AM – Microsoft have confirmed that implementing a new authentication component has remediated impact.

Scope of impact: Impact is specific to users who are served through the affected infrastructure.

Root cause: An authentication component necessary for performing the first-time setup of MFA for devices was misconfigured and resulted in impact

Next steps: Microsoft are reviewing their authentication component configuration procedure to prevent similar impact from occurring in the future.
