Issue Description: Users may be unable to receive or sync on-premises email messages on the Outlook mobile app.
Final Update: 01/11/2024 10:46:00 AM – The deployment has successfully completed and has resolved impact.
Scope of impact: Impact may occur for some users attempting to receive or sync on-premises email messages on the Outlook mobile app.
Root cause: A recent change to the Mailbox Replication Service (MRS) intended to enhance logging has resulted in sync issues for on-premises email messages on the Outlook mobile app.
Next steps: Microsoft are reviewing their update procedures to better identify similar issues during our development and testing cycles.
