Issue Description: Users may be unable to access the Question and Answers (Q&A) feature within Microsoft Teams meetings.

More info: The problem occurs within the Microsoft Teams desktop and web clients and happens during meetings started from channels as well as live events. Affected users are seeing the following message: “Q&A was not set up for this meeting”.

Current Update: 14/10/2024 09:04:00 AM – Microsoft are continuing their development of the fix and expect to have a deployment timeline by the next scheduled update.

Scope of impact: Any user opening the Q&A panel within Microsoft Teams meetings and channels may be impacted.

Root cause: An update to a portion of code that facilitates the Q&A feature contains an error in the way the meeting IDs are handled, resulting in impact.
