Issue Description: Users may be unable to select mega menu options within modern SharePoint Online sites.

Final Update: 14/12/2023 09:10:00 AM – After confirmation with a subset of affected users, Microsoft have confirmed that the redeployment of their fix has remediated the impact.

Scope of impact: Any user attempting to select options within the mega menu on modern SharePoint Online sites may be impacted.

Root cause: An unrelated deployment conflict was preventing our previous efforts of reverting the offending service change from taking effect and resulted in the continuous impact.

Next steps: Microsoft are further analyzing the deployment problem that arose during the deployment of their solution so they can help ensure that future remediation deployments complete as quickly as possible and are not similarly delayed.
