Issue Description : Some users may see failures on Windows Autopilot devices for self-deploying and pre-provisioning modes.

More Information : Users may see the following error in Trusted Platform Module logs:
Error code – Time out during attestation 0x81039001

Final Update : 31/03/2023 09:30:00 AM – Microsoft have finished validating and ingesting the partner provider’s fix, and they’ve confirmed the impact is remediated.

Scope of impact : Your organization is affected by this event, and the issue may impact some users with Windows Autopilot devices for self-deploying and pre-provisioning modes.

Root cause : A recent authorization component update from a partner provider is causing failures for Windows Autopilot devices for self-deploying and pre-provisioning modes.

Next steps : To help prevent similar impact in the future, Microsoft are further reviewing why the partner provider’s update caused failures and how they can improve validation before ingesting their updates.
