Issue Description : Some users may be unable to access specific new features within Word Online

Final Update : 03/02/2023 13:46:00 PM – Microsoft have confirmed that a network authentication component misconfiguration issue was causing impact to occur. They have corrected the misconfiguration, which has remediated impact.

Scope of impact : Impact is specific to Word Online users who are served through the affected infrastructure.

Root cause : A network authentication component misconfiguration issue was preventing users from accessing specific new features within Word Online.

Next steps : Microsoft are reviewing the network authentication component configuration procedures to help prevent this problem from happening again.
