Issue Description : Admins’ Office Activation reports may have been delayed up to two days in the Microsoft 365 admin center.

Scope of impact : This issue may potentially affect any admin attempting to view Office Activation reports in the admin center.

Final Update : 06/09/2022 12:08:00 PM – Microsoft has fixed the upstream data source pipeline and monitored the report data in their telemetry to confirm that the impact was remediated.

Root cause : An issue in Microsoft’s upstream data source pipeline responsible for timely report data in the Microsoft 365 admin center is causing Office Activation reports delays.

Next steps : Microsoft is continuing their review of the upstream data source pipeline to help find better ways to detect and remediate similar issues in the future.
