Issue Status : RESOLVED

Issue Description : Admins may have been unable to access the Microsoft 365 admin center intermittently.

More info : The majority of affected admins report that a blank page renders when attempting to access the admin center, and no perceivable error message was presented. A limited number of admins report that a 404 error or “Loading chunk (number) failed” was shown intermittently. Admins could attempt to reload the page to intermittent success.

Scope of impact : This issue could have potentially affected any admin that’s attempting to access the Microsoft 365 admin center.

Final Update : 03/08/2022 12:31:00 PM – Microsoft confirmed the final service instance restart has completed and impact was successfully remediated for all users.

Root cause : Some portions of infrastructure responsible for access requests to the Microsoft 365 admin center were performing below expected thresholds, resulting in intermittent access issues.

Next steps : Microsoft are reviewing the affected infrastructure to better understand the nature of the performance loss issue to better prevent similar future impact.
