Issue Description: Users will see intermittent connection drops for Windows 365 Cloud PCs.
Current Update: 11/06/2026 09:39:00 AM –After further review of reports of impact from a subset of affected users, Microsoft has confirmed that a recent upgrade to the traffic manager utilized to process incoming user traffic accessing Microsoft Whiteboard in the UK South region introduced a code error, which resulted in access failures and issues for users within the affected region. They have expanded their communications to encompass all potentially affected users and have updated the “Scope of impact” field to align with this change. They have rolled back to the previous service build, and they confirmed from their service monitors and with a subset of affected users that users are now able to access Microsoft Whiteboard as expected.
Scope of impact: Some users in the UK South region attempting to access Microsoft Whiteboard may have been impacted.
Root cause: A recent upgrade to the traffic manager utilized to process incoming user traffic accessing Microsoft Whiteboard in the UK South region introduced a code error, which resulted in access failures and issues for users within the affected region.
Next update by: Microsoft are analyzing the offending upgrade to isolate why the potential for impact wasn’t caught during our internal update testing and validation phases. This further analysis will help us to ensure similar impact scenarios don’t occur in the future by helping us to improve their update implementation process moving forward.
