Issue Description: Administrators may experience a delay when deploying declarative policies to iOS devices via the Microsoft Intune admin center.

More Info: Changes to policy targeting can take up to 24 hours to apply. This issue is limited to iOS devices only.

Current Update: 09/01/2026 10:39:00 AM – Microsoft has completed validation of the fix and scheduled it for rollout. The deployment is expected to complete and fully resolve the issue by Monday, 9 February 2026.

Scope of impact: Your organisation is affected, and some iOS devices may experience delayed policy updates. This information may change as the investigation continues.

Root Cause: A synchronization issue within part of the Intune service responsible for processing declarative policy changes on iOS devices.
