Current Update: 05/01/2026 08:42:00 AM – Microsoft has received reports of an issue with higher battery and CPU usage within Microsoft Teams calls. They analyzed service telemetry and recent service changes, which identified a routine update containing a code issue that led to increased battery and CPU usage during calls. They are validating a fix in their internal testing environments. Once validation is complete, they will monitor progress and proceed with full deployment to the impacted environments.
