Issue Description: Users may see a User Interface (UI) glitch in Microsoft Teams which shows an added bar at the top of each window.

More info: This specifically impacts users that are using webview2 version “144.0.3719.82” on Windows 10 devices.

Current Update: 26/01/2026 08:42:00 PM –Microsoft are making the necessary adjustments to expedite the deployment of their fix to resolve the issue as soon as possible and anticipate the fix should reach affected users by their next scheduled update.

Scope of impact: Impact is specific to some users utilising the UI in Microsoft Teams.

Root cause: A code regression in the webview2 version 144.0.3719.82 is causing impact to occur.
