Issue Description: If no action is taken, sensor machines with an internet proxy may be disconnected from the cloud and won’t be protected.

More info: This issue occurs across multiple browsers and also when using a private browsing mode. This issue also impacts accessing a Class Notebook using the “Manage” option in the OneNote desktop app.

Current Update: 14/01/2026 12:38:00 PM –Microsoft has identified an issue where sensor machines using an internet proxy may become disconnected from the Microsoft cloud and remain unprotected unless a revival script is executed. This communication will expire in seven days and will remain active for the full duration.
