Issue Description: Resource accounts are normally exempt from MFA on the NHS.net platform; however, some accounts are being prompted for MFA unexpectedly.
Current Update: 04/02/2026 12:00 PM – The MFA prompts affecting Teams Room resource accounts were not caused by a single configuration change, but by the interaction between cloud‑side group remediation and an on‑premises process that continued to re‑apply an MFA‑enforcing security group. Identifying this interaction was critical to understanding both the recurrence of the issue and why standard remediation steps did not initially provide a permanent resolution.
