Issue Status: ONGOING

Issue Description: Users can’t delete classic artifacts within Microsoft Fabric.

More info: Additionally, users will receive failures when attempting to create classic artifacts with the same name as a previously deleted artifact.

Current Update: 19/06/2025 08:40:00 AM – The deployment of Microsoft’s fix is ongoing and nearly saturated throughout the affected environment. As such, some users may begin to see relief before others. They anticipate the deployment will complete, remediating impact for all users, by their next scheduled update.

Scope of impact: Your organization is affected by this event, and some users attempting to delete classic artifacts or create a classic artifact that shares a name with a previously deleted one are impacted.

Root cause: A recent service update to a portion of the Microsoft Fabric service infrastructure contains a code regression, resulting in impact.
