Information – Scheduled Maintenance: Windows 365 Service

22/05/2025 13:21:00 PM

Message: To enhance the performance and reliability of the Windows 365 service, we have scheduled routine maintenance. This will take place during off-peak hours according to each client device’s local time to help reduce any potential disruption. For organizations with users in multiple regions, we understand that peak hours vary, so maintenance will be conducted separately in each area. Only users connecting from the specific region during its scheduled window will be affected. The times listed below reflect the exact start times for maintenance in each region, using UTC and not adjusted for local time differences.

There will be no service outages during this time. Users may notice minimal to no interruption.

User Impact: Users connected through UDP relay may experience brief, automatic reconnections, typically under a minute during the scheduled time.

Maintenance Timeline:
Start Date: June 2, 2025
End Date: June 7, 2025

Daily Maintenance Start Times (UTC):

  • Europe: 00:00

Daily Maintenance End Times (UTC):

  • Europe: 04:00

Organization Impact: Users connected through UDP relay may experience brief, automatic reconnections—typically under a minute.

  • Although the total window for possible impact is up to 4 hours, these brief disconnections will only happen once or twice per user.
  • Users can continue to initiate new connections without issues during the maintenance period. The service remains fully operational throughout.

Action required: No specific action is needed, as all systems will automatically recover from any brief interruptions. However, we recommend informing your helpdesk and users about the upcoming maintenance and the possibility of short-lived disruptions.

We’re dedicated to delivering a smooth and reliable service, and we appreciate your cooperation as we make these important improvements to Windows 365.
