Issue Description: Users may be unable to access the Power BI and Microsoft Fabric services.

Final Update: 08/12/2025 09:06:00 AM – Microsoft have confirmed after a period of monitoring that the services are restored and the issue is no longer occurring.

Scope of impact: This issue may potentially impact any user attempting to access the Power BI and Microsoft Fabric services.

Root cause: A cooling system failure in a section of infrastructure that supports timely access to the Power BI and Microsoft Fabric services is causing the section of infrastructure to run too hot, is leading to impact.

Next Steps: Microsoft are conducting a review to update proactive monitoring of the cooling system performance across all infrastructure sections to prevent unexpected failures.
