Issue Description: Users may be unable to access Community Analytics in Microsoft Viva Engage.
Final Update: 01/05/2026 08:37:00 AM– Microsoft has completed our roll back of the recent change and confirmed internally through telemetry, as well as with a subset of affected users, that impact has been remediated.
Scope of impact: Any user including internal users, may have been affected and unable to access Community Analytics in Microsoft Viva Engage.
Root cause: A recent update to the Microsoft Viva Engage service contained a code configuration issue, which led to impact
Next steps: Microsoft are reviewing our update procedures to understand why impact to the Community Analytics page wasn’t caught during the testing phase. This will help to drive service improvements by proactively identifying similar issues in the future and improve our update testing processes.
