Issue Description: Users may experience incomplete meeting recordings in Microsoft Teams.

More info: When a meeting generates multiple recording files some files contain the correct video content. The final saved files only include transcripts without any video.

Final Update: 07/04/2026 08:55:00 AM–Microsoft validated through an extended monitoring period that their configuration correction has fully remediated the impact as expected.

Root cause: A configuration discrepancy within the Microsoft Teams recording service during internal processing is causing some meeting recordings to be saved without video content while transcripts were generated as expected.

Next steps: Microsoft are continuing to analyze this configuration discrepancy within the Microsoft Teams recording service in order to better understand how they might detect and prevent similar issues from reoccurring in the future.
