Issue Status: RESOLVED

Issue Description: Users may be unable to load some shared channel messages in Microsoft Teams.

More info: Users may see the following error: “We’re having trouble loading your messages. Try refreshing.”

Final Update: 23/05/2025 21:00:00 PM – Microsoft have completed deploying the previously mentioned fix, and they’ve monitored their service health telemetry to confirm that shared channel messages are loading as expected and impact is remediated.

Scope of impact: This issue may impact any user attempting to load some shared channel messages in Microsoft Teams.

Root cause: A recent update introduced a code regression which prevents valid user info from being retrieved, causing the shared channel pane to crash and resulting in impact.
